Apr 25, 2014; Milwaukee, WI, USA; Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Ryan Braun (8) asks for a replay review after being called out on a close play by first base umpire Kerwin Danley in the third inning during the game against the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park. The call was overturned and Braun was ruled safe. (Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports)

Milwaukee Brewers

Last week: 2-4 (lost 2 of 3 to Reds, 3 of 4 for the entire series, and dropped 2 of 3 to the Diamondbacks)

How do you drop two of three to Arizona? That’s right. The Diamondbacks are dreadful at home (3-13, plus 0-2 in Australia) and decent on the road (10-9). Still, the Brewers own baseball’s second-best record. Part of that is because of how the Brewers play on the road, too.

At Miller Park, Milwaukee is only 10-8. When they’re away from MP, they are 12-5. What you might find surprising is that the Brewers have scored 56 runs on those 18 home dates. In the 17 on the road, they have plated a total of 83 runs.

Ryan Braun should make a return this week. The date you should keep in mind on Tuesday. That’s when the Brew Crew will host the Pirates. For his career, Braun’s slashline against the Buccos is .322/.408/.603 with 26 home runs, tied for most off any opponent. That other team? The Houston Astros.

This week’s schedule: Yankees (3), off Monday, Pittsburgh (3)
