With the White Sox currently in last place in the American League Central, nine and half games behind the first place Detroit Tigers, the probability is looking as though they will likely be sellers come the July 31 trade deadline.
However, they still have three and half weeks of play left to go before then. If they were to move into a position that could put them into contention for the second wild card spot then the team from the south side of Chicago may move over into the buyers side of the trade market but it is still doubtful.
Since dealing Jake Peavy and Alex Rios at last year’s deadline they will be more apt to continue the rebuilding process they started last season. The real question for the White Sox is who would they be willing to trade? Also, mainly where do they see the current team of players going in the next two years?
