At 52-33 the Oakland Athletics are arguably the best team in baseball right now. Despite being swept by the Detroit Tigers in their last series, they still hold a three and half game lead in the American League Western Division, a division they are poised to win for the third straight year.

The A’s lead or are in the top five in the majors in everything from their insane run differential at plus-128 to team ERA at 3.23 to runs scored at 429.

Led by manager Bob Melvin they are one of the most, if not the most, complete teams in MLB with very few holes and a lot of depth.
