2. Hustle

Like a Captain does, Jeter’s own interest was never above the team’s.  He was all baseball all the time. Former teammates, trainers and managers won’t hesitate to tell you about the early 90’s and the beginning of the era of Jeter, where his effort was first noted.  He’s always described to be the first to show up and the last man to leave. On and off the field, Jeter always did his job.  Never have you seen Jeter involved in some scandal.  Never has Jeter slacked at playing the number six position.  For twenty years it’s been non-stop effort and non-stop hustle.
