San Francisco Giants receive Taiwanese animation treatment (Video)

The San Francisco Giants closed out the 2014 season with a victory in Game 7 of the World Series on Wednesday. The team and city will celebrate their third championship in the last five years today with a parade through the streets of San Francisco. While the parade is the pinnacle of celebration for most championship victories, the Giants look to be the benefit of one more.

They’ve received the honor of getting the Taiwanese animation treatment. Watch below.

The team behind the Taiwanese animation videos have gained plenty of popularity over the past year, covering worldwide news stories, scandals, and plenty of other newsworthy items in a hilariously unique fashion. Major sporting events haven’t necessarily been their biggest forte, but this take is – while slightly exaggerated – a pretty good one (aside from maybe Hunter Pence‘s yoga pants).

Sure, this is a little heavy-handed in terms of expressing the sheer dominance that the Giants displayed in winning a one run game against the Royals (again, the exaggeration – though the Madison Bumgarner stuff, minus the gatling gun, may have been relatively spot on) but it’ll bring a laugh to even the most disappointed of Kansas City fans.
