For fifteen MLB teams, Spring Training report dates are drawing closer and closer before players will start to head down to Arizona for Cactus League play. Fifteen teams, all centrally located in the greater Phoenix area and none more than 47 miles from another.
Teams have been holding their training homes out west dating back to 1947, when the New York Giants and Cleveland Indians became the first pair of teams to move out of Florida.
Full reporting dates for each club are listed below, with dates for both pitchers and catchers reporting and the team’s first scheduled full squad workout.
