Bryce Harper back in the lineup for Washington Nationals

Bryce Harper is back in the lineup for the Washington Nationals on Wednesday as the team tries for a series win against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Harper was held out of the lineup on Tuesday with knee soreness after suffering the injury during a sliding catch in Monday’s game.

Harper returns to hit in the third spot in the lineup, with Yunel Escobar and Anthony Rendon in front of him and finally-healthy Ryan Zimmerman and Jayson Werth as his protection.

With Harper back, the Nationals have their most healthy lineup of the season, with the still-injured being the lone exception. Washington has alternated wins and losses in each of their last eight games, and will hope the healthy lineup can get some momentum going as the Nationals try to catch the Mets at the top of the National League East.
