Jose Bautista rocks sweet batflip after game-winning shot in ALDS Game 5

The Toronto Blue Jays had plenty of reasons to celebrate after Wednesday afternoon’s game, but a celebration during the game gave Toronto a spark it hasn’t seen since Joe Carter won the Jays the World Series in 1993.

Toronto slugger Jose Bautista put the Blue Jays up for good after a three-run shot off of Texas Rangers’ reliever Sam Dyson, and after making solid eye contact with his no doubt homer, tossed his bat to the skies, or ceiling if you will, with a shot that had the sold out Rogers Centre crowd up for grabs.

The Blue Jays await the winner of Wednesday’s Game 5 between the Houston Astros and the Kansas City Royals in the American League Championship Series. Toronto will have home-field advantage if the Astros win, whereas the series will start in Kansas City if the Royals are victorious.

No matter the future ahead for the Jays, Toronto was given a special moment on Wednesday.
