Each season in Major League Baseball, it’s common to see top prospects debut to critical acclaim – but more often than not, underrated players are found making contributions for many big league teams.  Some players enter the league with high expectations and fail to live up to them immediately, but within a few years, those players are often rising up the ranks at their position.

Last season saw the emergence of young studs like Carlos Correa and Francisco Lindor, while veterans like Dee Gordon finally found their footing as big league stars.  Here are players at each position that could become some of the league’s brightest stars by season’s end.
