Over the past 145 years of Major League Baseball, there have been some truly impressive players. Let us continue our look at the top 100 players in MLB history, as we continue to count down through the greatest of the greats.

Last week, we began our countdown of the 100 greatest players in MLB history. In a way, those ten players between 91 and 100 are the hardest to rank, as they are the closest to the cutoff. Arguments can be made either way for their inclusion, or exclusion, from the list of the true greats of the game.

This next part, where we look at the players ranked from 81 through 90, is also a difficult area. These players, while not quite on the cusp, can still be considered fairly borderline for their inclusion on this list. However, as with any list, these rankings are quite subjective.

Out of the 18,663 players in major league history, we are now down to the 90 best to ever lace up the cleats and set foot on the diamond. So, without further ado, let us continue the countdown, and ge to this week’s installment of the greatest players ever in MLB history.
