3. Jerad Eickhoff vs ATL 5/22

34% owned
Jerad Eickhoff didn’t see a lot of success with his start May 11 against the Braves, surrendering four runs (three earned) while lasting only 4.1 innings.
However, that was his only start of his last four that did not register as a quality one. It’s safe to bet that Eickhoff rebounds in a second date with the rather inept Atlanta lineup.
Freddie Freeman did most of the damage off Eickhoff last time around with a home run and three hits, but he’s been rather cool since that game, hitting only .188 with zero home runs over his last eight contests.
Atlanta ranks dead last in the league for runs scored and team OPS, so Eickhoff should be able to make his adjustments knowing more now about what he saw earlier in the month from this Braves team. He may not get the run support from his Phillies teammates for a win, but a quality start is likely.
