(4) Nomar Mazara 5/25/16

Of the names one this list, Nomar Mazara is the one that you are most likely not to have heard of, unless you are a fan of the Texas Rangers. Mazara is a rookie this season and has held down right field for the Rangers for the team. Regardless of his rookie stratus, Mazara has the fourth longest homerun of the StatCast era.

Mazara started off the season on a positive note and when May 25 came around, he had already hit seven homeruns on the season which was still in its infancy. When he stepped up to the plate in the eighth inning, Mazara was just looking to have a productive at bat in a game that his team would go onto win by a score of 15-9 over the Los Angeles Angels.

Mazara’s homerun left his bat at 107.8 MPH at a launch angle of 26.9 degrees. As the ball sored into the sky at Globe Life Park, fans could only watch on in amazement. When it finally reached the stands in right field, the ball had traveled an amazing 491 feet from home plate.

With a park factor of 107, Globe Life slightly favors batters. Because of its slight edge towards batters, Globe Life is a premium destination for any hitter looking to really smoke the ball at the plate.
