The future is inevitably bright for the Toronto Blue Jays and it’s obvious. This is because, well, the present is definitely disappointing for this team. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is a player many have high hopes for. Many anticipate and hope he is just as good as his father. Another player who is getting highlighted for his potential to help the Jays’ future is Bo Bichette. Of course, fans are still looking at the present as the second half of the season is set to start, and it will be interesting to see what the Jays can pull off.

These two kids have all the power to be  superstars. They just have to dig deep and continue to work hard. Just look at the Toronto Maple Leafs. The rookies of the Leafs have done wonders for them. They were the highlight of the team. In addition, they helped push them to the playoffs.

All fans can do is hope for the best, as many would hate to think things could get any worse. Controversy lies with Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins if they do decide to stay. Both Bichette and Guerrero Jr. are both quite young still, but the potential is definitely there.

Even though they’re not expected to play in the big leagues until 2020, it’s hard not to look at the future of the Jays. Rob Longley of The National Post commented on these two youngsters:

“Both players carry high expectations on their own merit. And both will report to the Dunedin Blue Jays across the state after they are done with the all-star festivities — a promotion from Lansing and the next step on their journey to the majors.”
