The Major League Baseball playoff race has heated up with less than two weeks to go on. However, not everyone has a team in the chase. So rest assured that we have a friendly guide for those who don’t.

Major League baseball fans come in all shapes, sizes, economical backgrounds, genders, socioeconomic statuses and political affiliations, but not all of them have a team in the playoff race. Yet, don’t we all deserve a good reason to get excited about postseason baseball?

I believe we do. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s listed in the U. S. Declaration of Independence. But some anti-baseball textbook writers left that out of your history classes.

Okay maybe it’s not quite there, but I believe our founding fathers certainly had baseball in mind when they framed it. After all, it’s a free country and just like high-priced, left-handed sluggers, fans should also become free agents when the regular season ends.
