Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig is known by many as a bad seed, but is he just misunderstood?

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is known for being a showboat and a trash talker, but there is another side to the Los Angeles Dodgers star that is unknown to many.

Puig will visit hospitals unannounced, giving back like others have done with him over the years.

Puig just took over sponsorship of a youth team that was in dire need of direction and a new coach. He even incorporated his personal touch into the team’s name.

That’s not to say that the wild horse, Puig, won’t need some taming of his own from time to time. Dave Roberts has not shied away into disciplining Puig when the moment calls for it.

Being flashy and having swagger isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact, in a game that means so much to youngsters, I believe a bit of flair is needed to liven the sports world up. It’s okay to have personality and be your own person, which Puig displays in spades.
