Milwaukee Brewers rumors suggest that other MLB teams may get some current outfielders off their hands.
With few impact outfield options in the free agent market, teams have been reaching out to the Milwaukee Brewers about their outfield, more specifically Domingo Santana. Brewers rumors are stirring up in Milwaukee.
San Francisco had been in on Stanton talks, so Santana could be a fallback option if they don’t land Stanton. It’s also very interesting that they are getting calls on all of their outfielders.
Stanton rejected a trade to San Francisco as of earlier today, so that is now out the window, opening up the possibility of landing a Brewers outfielder.
Here is the report from Ken Rosenthal, on these Brewers rumors:
Braun still packs a punch with his bat, but he will be hard to move regardless of the team because of his full no-trade clause. Even if teams call the Brew Crew, I find it hard to believe that he will be m
Keon Broxton is the wildcard here. He is a placeholder in Center Field for the Crew right now. With Lewis Brinson and Brett Phillips coming, his time might be coming to an end.

David Stearns has been unbelievable as the Brewer’s GM thus far. He’s reloaded the roster and got them competitive in a short period.
He should take calls on the outfield because the Brewers have a ton of quality depth at that position throughout their system.
However, he shouldn’t take any deal that doesn’t involve an impact pitcher. Domingo Santana is a young, blooming star, and should command a huge return.
If the offer doesn’t start with an impact starter Stearns should hang up.
Back to the aforementioned Keon Broxton. If teams are calling on him, Stearns should take the best offer he can get and send Keon out. If Keon gets sent packing, the Brinson era will begin.
Should Stearns find himself in a trade that requires Brinson or Phillips, he has depth at fourth outfielder. Hernan Perez spent a reasonable amount of time out there last season. They also have AAA outfielder Kyle Wren, who has been productive in the minors.

With these Milwaukee Brewers rumors floating around, the team might need to shake things up a bit. At some point, the Brewers need to get a top of the rotation guy. If they aren’t in love with any of the remaining free agent starters, shipping an outfielder out will get the job done.
