Braves rumors: Frazier and the Braves: A Logical Match
Slotting Frazier in at third would allow Camargo to become a full-time utility rover. He would also be the Braves strongest option off the bench and could serve as a late-game defensive replacement. Should Dansby Swanson or Ozzie Albies struggle, Camargo has proven he could step into either role.

Defensively, an infield of Frazier-Swanson-Albies-Freeman is solid. Despite Swanson’s 2017 struggles, an offseason mental reset should get him back to the plus defense he exhibited at Vanderbilt.
Offensively, Frazier would slot into the cleanup role vacated by Kemp. While lineup protection is a myth (depending on what you read), Frazier’s potential impact on Braves lineup is undeniable. His right-handed power would not only lengthen the lineup but would also serve as a perfect compliment to Freeman.
If Riley shows he is ready to join the big league club before Frazier’s contract is up, the Front Office can cross that bridge then. If both Frazier and Riley are providing value, that is a significant problem to have. In the meantime, the Braves should look to win now.
