With the Atlanta Braves having the top farm system in the game, prospect rankings are fun to read. We have a tool to make it easier to find all of those prospect rankings!

The Atlanta Braves have been ranked as the top farm system, according to multiple ranking services so far. As those prospect rankings come out, it’s tough to keep track of them all. We at Call to the Pen have a tracking tool for you!

Our minor league “guru”, Benjamin Chase, has put together a Google Spreadsheet of national and local rankings for the Braves, with a tab tracking the players who have appeared on a top 100 list as well as another tab that tracks those players who have appeared in a positional ranking series. He will be updating this, so bookmark this link!

Rankings so far

In putting together the spreadsheet, it’s notable just how deep the Atlanta Braves system truly is. With just four of the top 100 lists out so far on the tracker, the Atlanta Braves already have 12 players who have appeared on at least one top 100 list.

Of course, those 12 are currently the top 12 players in points on the team rankings tab, but certainly it would not surprise if #13 Alex Jackson found his way onto a list or two this winter. That is an incredibly deep system. Keith Law remarked in putting together his team top 10 that he cannot recall another team ever having the entire top 10 in his top 100 list.

More from Call to the Pen

The team rankings are nearly complete that are listed, with just the Fangraphs and Pipeline team rankings and the top 10 from the guys at Walk Off Walk left to add in at this point (barring any other team lists being added).

In looking at that, what is notable is that just going to 25 for all lists (some lists went to 30, some to 40, some to 50, some to 100, so 25 was a good max to be uniform), 33 players are named across the team lists.

Six players have appeared on each list published completely so far – Ronald Acuna (duh!), Luiz Gohara, Kyle Wright, Mike Soroka, Ian Anderson, and Cristian Pache. Quite a few guys have been left off of just one or two lists as well.

Keep tuned to Call to the Pen for great Atlanta Braves coverage all season long, and don’t be surprised if there is more prospect coverage to come!!
