New York Mets: Tim Tebow expects to make it to the MLB level
Tim Tebow expects that he will make it all the way the MLB level with the New York Mets.
New York Mets MLB prospect, Tim Tebow — that’s still weird to say — is putting in the work this offseason, looking to make a push to the Big Leagues this 2018 campaign. Tim Tebow is on a mission, where the former College Football legend and Denver Broncos Quarterback revealed his aspirations for this coming year on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“The goal is to get the Major Leagues. Of course, no one thinks I can do it, but I love trying to prove people wrong.”
Tim Tebow has been proving others wrong his entire life, even before he exited the womb. Her pregnancy was complicated, where she endured more than intense pain, but significant blood loss — a situation where she had to choose between her life and her unborn son’s.
“We kept thinking we lost Timmy so many times. The best doctor in town did some tests. She determined that Timmy was a ‘mass of fetal tissue – a tumor,’ and I needed to abort immediately or I would die.”

Mrs. Tebow made a brave decision, one that not only saved Tim Tebow’s life but impacted many others years later. Even with all of his success — Two NCAA Football championships, a Heisman Trophy, 1st Round NFL selection, and a playoff win against the Pittsburgh Steelers — his most significant achievements have been off the field. He’s used his success and popularity to reach out to others in need.
During Spring Breaks at his time at the University Florida, he sacrificed his vacations to provide missions work and humanitarian relief in the Philippians. Most recently, through his foundation TimTebowfoundation.org, Tebow delivers the impossible for those less fortunate than himself.
If you haven’t seen what this organization is all about and the testimonies of those Tebow’s generated — check it out.
During his first professional at bat in 2017 within the New York Mets organization — his first official plate appearance since his Junior year in high school by the wat — Tim Tebow went yard, crushing a home run.
Even without playing baseball in over a decade, Tebow showed flashes of greatness, but overall it was a struggle for the man aspiring to make it to MLB. He “boasted” a .222/.308/.333 slash-line, with eight home runs and 54 RBI in only 244 plate appearances.
However, attendance for the Mets Minor League affiliate, the Columbia Fireflies, is up 40%, but even more than that, he’s incredibly generous with his fans. If the New York Mets struggle, which they are projected to do, Tim Tebow may have his shot at the MLB level. For all of the wrong reasons — selling tickets and generating all sorts of buzz.

But, Tim Tebow, as always, will take advantage this opportunity and no doubt shine — especially off the baseball diamond — with his kindness, generosity, and pure love for the game.
