The Houston Astros are making good progress so far in their World Series title defense. The team is 6-1 and on a four-game winning streak. It appears they’ve picked up where they’ve left off.

The Houston Astros are second in the league in hits (66) and in runs (41) and third in batting average (.281). They’re also in the top 5 in doubles. The offense seems to be okay, but there’s one hiccup, and that’s them being second in the league in strikeouts with 66.

Houston’s pitching’s ERA of 2.47 puts them second in the league, and they currently lead the league in strikeouts. Everything looks good for Houston.

There are a lot of reasons why Houston is off to a good start. However, perhaps we can say the reason they’re very successful is that they’re focused and they play as a team.

Everyone’s on the same page and they trust one another, which leads to success. In any case, the Astros need to keep it that way if they’re to continue to be a winning team.

The Astros will next take on the San Diego Padres in a three-game series at home before departing on a short road trip to Minnesota for a three-game series against the Twins.

With San Diego off a struggling 1-5 start, Houston needs to take advantage and go for the sweep. If Houston can sweep San Diego, it’ll boost their confidence and increase their concentration, which will ultimately lead to more wins.

It’s all about heading in the right direction and not making a wrong turn.

Lance McCullers Jr. steps on the mound for Houston in game one against San Diego, where we expect this winning trend to continue. The Astros would be the first team since the “Evil Empire” to go back to back with World Series titles, and this is a group which is more than capable of achieving that accomplishment.
