MLB FoodFest will make you crave your favorite MLB team’s top food selections.

Just like apple pie, baseball is an American classic. Many things have changed about baseball throughout the years, and perhaps the best development of the sport is the way we enjoy it at the stadium. Gone are the days of a classic beer and hotdog, in are the days of Brisket Nachos and grasshoppers — thanks to events such as the MLB FoodFest.

The MLB FoodFest shows off the best foods from the parks across the country and has some really tasty options available to try. You can check out the full post here, but I’m gonna talk about my three favorite foods from the MLB FoodFest.

Pig-Pickin’ – Atlanta Braves

After I first saw the Pig Pickin’ on the internet, I started looking up flights to Atlanta and the cheapest seats I could find for SunTrust Park, so that I could fork up fifteen extra dollars to eat this glorious looking concoction. It has everything you could possibly want to eat during a day at the ballpark wrapped up inside of a tortilla bowl, and they’re even so kind as to give you pork rinds on the side to enjoy with the massive amounts of food inside the bowl.

You get a nice tenderness with the pork, a savory taste with the mac and cheese, and a delectable sweet taste of the coleslaw.  If I had the chance to make it to MLB FoodFest, I would get a Pig Pickin’ and then come back through the line with a mustache to get another Pig Pickin’.

New England Lobster Rolls – Boston Red Sox

Where do I even begin with the lobster rolls…

That picture says more than I can about the lobster rolls that are featured at Fenway Park. Lobster. Mayo. Roll. What else could you want while watching Mookie Betts put on a show in the middle of summer? Come to Fenway for the baseball and environment, stay because you can’t move after eating four lobster rolls before the seventh inning.

Cheeto Lote – Los Angeles Dodgers

For those who like a little kick to their food, venture out to Dodger Stadium and get your hands on a Cheeto Lote. I’m a huge fan of corn on the cob and spicy food. I never even considered they could be combined in this way.

Be sure to wash this food down with an ice-cold beer, and be sure to hold on to it if a fly ball comes your way.
