We have reached the point in our MLB Power Rankings where the expectations of the preseason have been supplanted by the reality of the season.

Usually, by the end of April, the MLB Power Rankings reflect the standings a bit closer. The predictions from the offseason have fallen by the wayside, replaced with the inarguable truth of the regular season. The games are now played on the field instead of on paper, allowing fans to see what these teams truly have to offer.

Of course, the start of this year has been sporadic at best. Nearly 30 games have been postponed due to weather, including the Royals-Blue Jays tilt that was postponed by falling ice, even though it was indoors. Injuries have also caused havoc on teams, with quite a few players landing on the disabled list, missing time due to various ailments.

However, now that we are nearly a month into the regular season, teams are starting to learn who they are. For teams like the Royals, Reds, and Marlins, that is not a positive. Meanwhile, The Phillies, Red Sox, and Astros are enjoying the start to the season, with their fanbases dreaming of potential postseason glory.

Who were the big movers this past week? Let us look into the latest MLB Power Rankings.
