Jayson Werth is attempting to hold onto his baseball dream for one more season, and if he keeps hitting like he did on Monday, he’ll get another shot. Werth had three extra base hits for Tacoma, hitting a pair of doubles and a home run, scoring two runs and driving in 3, and even taking a walk.
While his trips to New York haven’t gone so well with the big league club, Chris Flexen had a very good start for Las Vegas on Monday, going 7 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and 2 walks, striking out 5.
