Standouts
Justin Smoak led a potent Toronto Blue Jays attack on Wednesday, going 2-5 with a pair of runs scored and 3 RBI. Smoak hit a double, home run, and took a walk.
Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer has been involved in plenty of controversy this year off the field, so it was pleasant to be able to consider his name for the work he’s done on the mound as he tossed 8 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits and no walks, striking out 10.
