Saturday high-A Standouts

Buddy Reed has been having an excellent opening to 2018, and Saturday was a great example of the type of play he’s put forth this season, going 4-4 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI, smacking a double and a home run, stealing 2 bases.

Myrtle Beach’s Keegan Thompson had a tremendous start on Saturday, going 6 scoreless innings, allowing just 1 hit and no walks, striking out 8.
