The MLB starts in just one hour! Do you need a handy guide to know the best players left on the board? Of course you do! It’s right here!!

With nearly 1,200 players about to hear their names called in the MLB draft, how can you know who is who? While we won’t have every selection for the entirety of the draft – or even the first two days of the draft, the following lists should give an idea of the players to know for this year’s MLB draft!

We will start with a top 50 overall list, then shift to positional lists for hitters, then finish with lists for pitchers. In all, 125 players are mentioned here, which should cover nearly everyone that will hear their name called over the first two rounds tonight.

These lists are done as if the previous player has been selected, and we are now sitting with an open farm system, no team affiliation to skew which development system would like a certain player more or anything like that. It’s just the guys that I like most, in order. We’ll start with the top 50 overall:
