October pie:

To get a big slice of the excitement, the front office must seize the opportunity. Yes, no GM wants to part with their future stars, but isn’t going deep in the playoffs the whole point? Of course, no club has a guarantee of multiple healthy seasons. Translation: the Mets.

"ON THE OTHER HAND: “I think there’s a difference between a gamble and a calculated risk.” – Edmund H. North"

When co-owner John S. Middleton powwowed with president Andy MacPhail and Klentak, the top voice of the Phils concluded a shot at the NL pennant is at hand. But later, Klentak, the point man, and Kapler couldn’t contain their euphoria.

To illustrate, if you add Kapler’s statement of power is coming to Middleton’s make-a-splash approval, yes, the execs have measured the cost and signed off on the current proposal. In fact, Klentak’s excitement was a perfect example during a recent interview.

The pleased GM stated his support for Maikel Franco and said he is the third sacker now and ’19. In other words, no one shows that level of excitement for Franco unless the words are to hide something else.

Well, the rotation upgrade wasn’t a secondary option, but is a slugger? And will Klentak trade the same pieces without receiving Britton if acquiring Machado depends on it? How in is all in?
