Prospects to watch

This is the team with the premier guy. Any team with Vladdy is going to get plenty of attention, and well-deserved, but as amazing as Guerrero is, he’s not the only guy to watch here.

The outfield for Surprise contains plenty of talent with Khalil Lee being one of the prospects that people are just starting to wake up to, but he could be a top 50 guy by the end of 2019. Juan Pablo Martinez made his debut from Cuba this year, but he has a world of talent, and he will be fun to watch this fall.

Finally, the Surprise pitching staff features a group of arms with big velocity, and even with tremendous breaking stuff, but mostly guys that will likely be relief arms in the end due to struggles with control. Nate Pearson is one to keep an eye on, though, as he returns from injury that kept him out all year.
