Sometimes, a picture can speak 1000 words. That was the case for the Miami Marlins, as they posted an image teasing their new uniforms.

The Miami Marlins are set to unveil their new uniforms and logo on November 15. Naturally, there has been a lot of speculation about what these jerseys will look like, with the Marlins teasing out various addresses in the Miami where murals in those colors are being finished up.

Excitement was further intensified on Saturday. The Marlins sent out an image on Twitter, showing just a small section of a uniform and a button. That was enough to make the fanbase explode with anticipation.

Over the history of the franchise, the teal jerseys from the early days are still the most beloved. However, those jerseys have yet to come back, much to the dismay of the fanbase. The Marlins orange uniforms were also discontinued last year, leaving the Marlins in their white, gray, and black uniforms. Those color schemes did nothing to invigorate the fanbase.

That desire to invigorate the fans is at the forefront of the Marlins plans. They are looking to create a more fan friendly atmosphere, and to bring in the excitement of the Winter Leagues. That also appears to involve having uniforms that the fanbase would prefer to the current look.

To be fair, the Marlins need to find ways to excite their fans in any way possible. Their best player, J.T. Realmuto, wants out of town, with his agent saying that he will not sign an extension. There is a core of solid young players, but none of them are quite ready to take the franchise back to relevance. Even if the team on the diamond will not be competitive, they will at least look good.

Next. Who will land J.T. Realmuto?. dark

The Miami Marlins have teased out an image of their new jersey. It may not be the teal, but it is a good step in the right direction.
