Breakdown of Steve Pearce’s New Deal
According to Jon Heyman of Fancred, Steve Pearce will earn $6.25 million guaranteed in his new one-year deal with the Red Sox and could add $50,000 for an All-Star appearance, a Silver Slugger or a League Championship Series MVP. Swihart Heading to Spring Training

Swihart, 26, has a career big league slash line of .256/.314/.364 in 191 games, smashing eight career homers and notching 54 RBI. Additionally, he’s stolen 10 bases and has added 27 doubles and 85 runs scored in parts of four seasons for the Sox.
