If the adults in The Sandlot movie fit the characterization of the film, there will be one kid who will plan the schemes.
If I were the writer, Squints, the kid who was “saved” by Wendy Peffercorn, will marry a hot girl. But, in a terrible turn of events, at least one of his children will become an “L7 weenie” because no one can have a 100% perfect life. But, Squints will also have a bigger role than the husband of a hot girl and dad of an Oscar Mayer.
Michael “Squints” Palledorous might have been one of the smallest kids on the team, but he certainly had one of the biggest personalities. As an adult, he grows into his teeth and his glasses become more stylish. But, his sense of humor and his affinity for beautiful women still guide him through life.
Along with Ham, Squints had some of the best lines in the original film and hopefully, he’ll come back as an adult and use them. Knowing that Squints planned the whole kissing scene event with Wendy shows that as an adult, he should have a few schemes that get the boys … err … men, into some trouble.
Just as Wendy was completely unaware of Squint’s plan to … seduce? … her, Mrs. Palledorous will have no idea just how wild Squint’s schemes will be. And, we – the viewers – will have the opportunity to see Squints at his finest standing up for the little guy in a really big way.
