Jose Canseco offers to tell Jennifer Lopez the truth about Alex Rodriguez

Jose Canseco is back at it again, this time offering to tell Jennifer Lopez the “truth” about Alex Rodriguez, who he claims is cheating on her with Canseco’s ex-wife.

It’s another week, so naturally, it is time for Jose Canseco to find his way into the news. Recently, he has offered to help Tim Tebow with his swing, claimed that if people pay to hang out with him that he will introduce them to Bigfoot and a “real” alien, and claimed to know the secrets of time travel. It is Jose Canseco after all, so insanity is part of the course.

Now, with the news that Alex Rodriguez is engaged to Jennifer Lopez, Canseco has emerged from the drug induced haze that he has been hiding in. Now, he is offering to tell J-Lo the “truth about A-Rod,” and even provided his phone number for her to call him.

So, now that we have all put Canseco’s number into our contact lists, it might be time to notify the former slugger that DMs don’t work like that. Of course, Canseco did not wait to hear from Rodriguez’ new fiancee, instead sharing his tale on Twitter.

In a story that would be right at home in any given soap opera, Canseco claimed that Rodriguez is cheating on Lopez. Not only that, but the other woman? None other than Canseco’s ex-wife. Because why else would Canseco get involved with this situation?

Let’s face it – Canseco is only looking out for poor, innocent Jessica Lopez. All he wants it to open her eyes to the dastardly ways of her betrothed. In no possible way would this be a cry for attention, or a way to stay in the public eye. Even Canseco’s offer to fight A-Rod, either in a boxing or MMA match, is just his way of trying to defend J-Lo’s sensibilities.

The odds of such a fight happening are fairly remote. After all, both sports have stringent PED testing, and we know both of their histories when it comes to that. Canseco even managed to become relevant once again after he blew the cover off of the PED scandal in revenge for his belief that he was blackballed from the game.

Who knows? Maybe Canseco is actually right about this as well. Back when he was claiming that half the league was on PEDs, no one believed him until testing showed that drug use was actually a problem in baseball. But then again, this is also the same guy that claims aliens taught him the secret of time travel. Maybe that baseball hit Canseco off the dome harder than we realized.
