team. 14. Call it a World Series hangover if you want, but the fact of the matter is that no one in the Red Sox rotation is performing well. Chris Sale looks like the injured pitcher at the end of last year. Rick Porcello has been better at demanding answers from teammates than getting people out. Boston took it easy on their arms in Spring Training, but the start of this year leaves one to wonder if that was the right idea.. . Previous: . Boston Red Sox. 25

There are signs of positivity for the White Sox. Carlos Rodon may actually be taking that step forward, as he struck out 15 batters while allowing only seven baserunners in 11.1 innings. If this truly is his breakout season, the White Sox could finally have that ace they have been searching for in their rebuild.. . Previous: . Chicago White Sox. 24. team. 128

Injuries to Daniel Murphy and Ryan McMahon have not helped, but Colorado ranks 14th in the NL in OPS, and 13th in runs scored. The pitching staff has generally held their own, but it is too much to ask them to shut out the opposition every time out.

Toronto Blue Jays. 22. team. 39. It did not take long for the Blue Jays to decide to rebuild, although the timing was odd. Just after the season began, both Kevin Pillar and Kendrys Morales were traded elsewhere in rare early season deals. These moves gave Rowdy Tellez a spot on the roster, but room must still be found for Anthony Alford.. . Previous:

Previous: . Chicago Cubs. 21. team. 9. The Cubs offense has, as expected, returned to their power hitting ways. The problem now is a pitching staff that has been a dumpster fire. Yu Darvish was a disaster in his first outing, and the bullpen, aside from Brad Brach, has been a train wreck. Carl Edwards Jr. was already sent to the minors, and other moves may be coming..
