The New York Yankees are the best franchise and team in Major League Baseball there’s no question about it. Here’s why.

The New York Yankees have broken so many records just this year, including 28 straight games where they hit at least one home run. They also made a franchise record for 162 games that they haven’t been shutout.

As for why they are the greatest team and franchise, I could just say 27 rings and end it but we all know there’s more depth to that.

There have been many power duos and quartets in this franchise. Murderers row, the Core Four, the baby bombers, are just to name a few. Before there was Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton there was Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada and before them, there was Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio.

What makes this particular Yankees team so special is that they support each other, through the good and the bad. They help each other with pitching techniques or batting practice and they learn how to become better ball players every single day.

Brian Cashman has been the General Manager for 21 years. He has chosen immense talent and can tell who has excellent work ethic. The team managers over the past few years, Aaron Boone, Joe Torre & Joe Gerardi were all huge pieces in making this team what it is today.

Have I mentioned that they have a killer bullpen? Their closer Aroldis Chapman is a pitcher with the fastest pitches in the league with 105.1 mph. CC Sabathia also just clinched his 250th career win. Tanaka just had his fourth shutout/no-hitter.

Right fielder Aaron Judge usually has a 40 or 50 home runs in him but was hurt earlier this year. Yet, Gleyber Torres has 19 so far and Gary Sanchez has 23. Even with all the injuries they had early in the season they rallied together and won 52 over the past 80 games. The “baby bombers” really stepped up in the teams time of need. This past week they also won a homestand 9-1.

The New York Yankees also one of the first to travel to London and play against the Red Sox this weekend. Even the people overseas are coming to see them because they know they are great. Watch out world because the Yankees are coming for championship number 28!
