Ken Rosenthal has reported that the Houston Astros have traded for Zack Greibbnke seconds before the deadline. Have the Astros won the World Series today?

Zack Greinke is headed to the Houston Astros, and he is going to be their THIRD starter. Houston has also added Joe Biagini and Aaron Sanchez from the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Astros had to give up their #3, #4, and #5 prospects in the deal to Arizona.

Greinke did not have an option to veto the trade from Houston, as they were not on his no-trade list.

Greinke will now join Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole in the best rotation in baseball (that are contenders). He is currently 10-4 with a 2.87 ERA in 22 starts.

All I am going to say is good luck to the American League because the Astros are by far the best team in the MLB and it isn’t even close.

The Yankees meanwhile failed miserably at the Trade Deadline by not acquiring any pitching which was their huge hole and the Astros meanwhile won the whole Deadline in a matter of fifteen minutes after the 4 ET deadline.

The Astros have easily won the World Series today. They will end up easily winning the American League and will most likely easily win the whole thing.

The Dodgers, who are National League favorites, have not made many moves to improve their big hole which was the bullpen.

Kenley Jansen is still a great closer but has not been the 2017 Kenley Jansen we knew of. There is no protection for Jansen in that bullpen so I would be concerned if I was a Dodgers fan why Los Angeles didn’t make any big moves.

I would not bet on Pedro Baez and Julio Urias to win them a World Series so Houston will be the far ahead favorites to win the 2019 World Series.
