MLB: All the Questions on Angel Hernandez’s Psych Exam

As part of Angel Hernandez’s lawsuit against MLB, which alleges racial discrimination, he will be required to take a psych evaluation.  CTTP has an “exclusive” look at what the Psych evaluator will be asking.

The Angel Hernandez lawsuit is one of the stranger off the field stories in the MLB.  Hernandez, who is of Cuban descent, filed a lawsuit that alleges MLB discriminates against him because of his race.

Particularly, Hernandez claims that MLB passes over him for crew chief promotions and World Series and Postseason assignments.

We last heard about the case 2 months ago, when the case was transferred from Ohio to New York which likely favors the league.  Now in the latest twist, Hernandez will be required to take a psych evaluation.

Now, claims of racial discrimination should absolutely be taken seriously, there is just one problem: the Angel Hernandez we are talking about and he absolutely Sucks at his job.  He sucks at calling balls and strikes, calls in the field, and then he antagonizing players and managers after he does a terrible job.

If I asked you to name the worse umpire in the game, hell if I asked you to name an umpire, your answer starts with Angel Hernandez and probably includes Joe West and C.B. Bucknor.

1. Are you the Worst Umpire in all of Major League Baseball?

Any answer that isn’t yes should have Hernandez deemed insane and immediately institutionalized or banished to the minor leagues so they MiLB can prepare for West and Bucknor.

2. Have you ever read the Major League rule book description of the strike zone?

No.

3. How do you explain this video describing you as Baseball’s biggest clown?

Trick question again, Angel Hernandez can’t see the video because he is blind.

Angel Hernandez is terrible.  This is more fact than opinion these days.  Racial discrimination should absolutely be taken seriously but in the case of Hernandez, maybe he should be a little more self-aware.  A simple google search would reveal all the different ways Angel Hernandez sucks in all facets of his job.
