WIth the 2019 MLB postseason fast approaching the NL Wild Card race is down to the Nationals, Brewers, and Cubs so who will get the two wild-card spots?

Get excited! It’s one of the best times of the year. Fans will be glued to their coaches watching all of the MLB postseason impact games.

The Brewers are facing non-contending teams the rest of the way while the Cubs have to face the NL Central-leading Cardinals six more times. The Nats have a lead for the first Wild Card spot, but it isn’t a big lead so anything can happen.

I’m sorry Phillies and Mets, your seasons are over because the Brewers aren’t slowing down anytime soon and I don’t see either team winning the rest of their games to overcome a three-game deficit in a highly competitive wild card race.

The Phillies bullpen has not been good all season, and their rotation has been shaky below Aaron Nola, who came away with the loss to the Braves in their series finale.

Phils manager Gabe Kapler doesn’t seem to be the right fit as the Philadelphia manager to me, and although there is still another year on his contract and GM Matt Klentak was the one who hired him, I just think there were high expectations for this team and Kapler hasn’t been able to lead them to October.

The New York Mets have made a good effort to come back from their six-game losing streak weeks ago, but I just think it is too late.

Mickey Callaway will probably still have his job next season, as he has had to deal with a lot of injuries

So, who will get the two wild-card spots? It’s one of the most compelling questions in the league right now, so here are my predictions.
