After an exciting 2019 that ended in disappointment, here are players that can potentially make the Atlanta Braves better in 2020.

The Atlanta Braves had a terrific regular season. They went 97-65, winning 7 more games than the previous season,  and won the National League East division for the second consecutive season.

Ronald Acuna, Freddie Freeman, and Josh Donaldson all put up ridiculous numbers during the regular season. Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies made a great middle infield once again and were both great supporting pieces in a powerful lineup.

As for their pitching, the Braves had three starters win more than 10 games and toss at least 160 innings. Mike Soroka turned many heads and was a Cy Young candidate during his rookie season. He went 13-4 with a 2.68 ERA during his age-21 season. He proved that he can be an ace moving forward.

Julio Tehran and Max Fried were both impressive and workhorses during the regular season. The June signing of Dallas Keuchel helped the team win the NL East, but his days in Atlanta seems to be over, as his contract is expiring.

However, winning 97 games during the regular season means nothing when the club loses the division series. They were defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals in 5 games.

The question is, how can the team improve? Here are three free agents the Atlanta Braves should target this offseason.
