International Prospects from Cuba have been entering MLB and making an immediate impact. Here are our top 25 Cuban prospects to watch for.

When we talk about the top international prospects from Cuba in MLB Luis Robert is the first name that comes to mind. The White Sox outfielder and native of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba is the #2 prospect in baseball and probably a favorite for the Rookie of the Year in the AL this season.

The team thinks so highly of Robert that they have already committed 78 million in salary before he has even played an inning in the big show.

Last season in the minors he hit .328 with 32 big flys, 92 runs batted in and 36 stolen bases. He also slashed .376/.624/1.001 during that time.

Randy Arozarena is also someone to watch this spring. The onetime Cardinals farmhand hit .300 last year in 19 games with the Redbirds.

His offseason trade to Tampa Bay has him in primed to break camp with the big club if he has a good spring.

Michel Baez, Adrian Morejón and Ronald Bolaños all made their Major League debuts last season and look like they will be part of the Padres pitching staff for years to come.

Although Bolaños is a little rough around the edges he struck out  19 batters in 19 innings pitched. Baez, on the other hand, looked astonishing in middle relief compiling a 3.03 ERA in 29 innings pitched.

Orioles # 5 prospect Yusniel Diaz also has a chance to win a job with a good spring. The Cuban who was a key cog in the Manny Machado trade has all the tools to make an impact this coming season.

Miguel Romero and his 98 mph heater is coming off a dominating winter league performance in Puerto Rico and could eventually be a closer for the A’s.

Next. Óscar Luis Colás: the Cuban Shohei Ohtani. dark
