In this 2020 MLB season simulation, the  Dodgers score in the Big Apple.

The Dodgers came away with two of three at Citi Field, but the Mets were competitive in all three games, a pleasant change from the routine. Walker Buehler, 4-1, pitched LA to a 4-2 win Friday, delivering seven innings in which he allowed just three hits, one of them a Wilson Ramos home run.

Chris Taylor homered to lead off the game, tripled with the bases full in the seventh, and drove in all four Dodger runs. Michael Wacha, 3-7, took the loss.

The Mets won Saturday’s game 4-3 behind Marcus Stroman, 5-4. Michael Conforto’s double highlighted a three-run Mets first inning off David Price, 5-3. The Dodgers won 4-3 in 10 innings Sunday, another Taylor home run – this one off Justin Wilson, 2-3, providing the winning run. Julio Urias, 5-1, got the win in relief of Clayton Kershaw.

The Phillies took advantage of Atlanta’s problems in Seattle to pick up a game in the NL East race. Adam Haseley drove in two runs Friday during a 7-4 win for Seranthony Dominguez, pitching in relief of Zach Wheeler. Hector Neris thwarted a Washington ninth-inning rally for his sixth save.

The Nats followed Max Scherzer, 8-2, to a 4-1 decision Saturday. Howie Kendrick homered and drove in three runs. Philadelphia took the series with a  10-5 win Sunday, touching Anibal Sanchez, 5-5, for five runs in four and two-thirds innings. Zach Eflin, 6-3, got the decision. Bryce Harper and Scott Kingery both homered, Harper also doubling and driving in three runs.
