Fans are anxiously awaiting the MLB debut of outfielder Jo Adell.

Jo Adell may be the only prospect on this particular list yet to either make his MLB debut this season or appear in a major league game, but Adell is arguably the most talented up and coming prospect not only in the American League West, but in all of baseball.

Adell enters the 2020 season as the top-ranked prospect in the Los Angeles Angels system and sixth overall. There’s a very good chance that Adell joins Mike Trout in LA’s outfield this season, switching from his current role as a center field to occupy a corner outfield spot next to the future Hall of Famer who won’t be giving up his spot in center field anytime soon.

A first-round pick in 2017, Adell is just 21 years old, so the Angels may wait a bit to bring up Adell, but when they do they will be adding an exciting piece who is expected to be a mainstay in the major league lineup for many years to come.

Adell appeared at three different minor league levels last season, compiling a combined .359 on-base percentage, 10 home runs, 27 doubles, and was a perfect 7-7 in stolen base attempts.

Next up, we switch leagues to the National League and take a look at the most exciting prospects to watch in the NL East.
