Atlanta Braves star Freddie Freeman might win the NL MVP and the nicest guy in baseball award

The Atlanta Braves‘ star first baseman is making a run for the NL MVP award and hit a walk off hit in the 13th inning for a Braves victory over the Reds.

Freddie Freeman’s .341 batting average, .640 slugging, 13 home runs, and 53 RBI’s are amazing, but what is even cooler is Freeman’s personality.

Trevor Bauer dueled off against Max Fried in game one of the series between the Reds and Braves, and both pitched outstanding.

Many baseball fans have enjoyed Bauer’s extroverted, non-filtered emotions on the baseball field. Some have not enjoyed it so much.

As you could imagine, Bauer showed some swagger and emotion in the playoff game where he threw 7 2/3 innings, with 12 strikeouts and only allowing two hits.

The game went to extra innings scoreless, and Freeman brought in the winning run to end it.

After the game, Freeman was asked by reporters whether he noticed Bauer’s showing off. Mark Bowman tweeted:

This might have been the nicest and most professional response by a big leaguer. Freeman has been known as an extremely friendly person, and fans get to see his personality on TV often.

Even with Bauer’s antics, Freeman gave him props for his outstanding pitching performance which says a lot about him.

Freeman is one of my favorite players and is awesome to watch on Intentional Talk as a guest.

I personally think Bauer is a little too much for me, but it is good to see emotions and fire on the baseball field. It is a little change of pace and untraditional, which makes it fun to watch.
