Toronto Blue Jays
Unlike the other two teams on the list, the Toronto Blue Jays are more than potentially needing just one piece. Yet, they would make sense to acquire Kris Bryant from the Chicago Cubs.
The Blue Jays would also have an opening at the hot corner. Travis Shaw is a candidate to be non-tendered this offseason, especially after a second consecutive season of below average production. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. may have begun his career at third, but is now seen as more of a first baseman/designated hitter.
Meanwhile, the Blue Jays have expressed a willingness to fortify their lineup further. General manager Ross Atkins indicated that Toronto will be looking to add a high impact player to the lineup, especially given the talent already on the roster.
Bryant would be that player. Not only would he be another powerful bat in the lineup, but he has also been a strong defensive player at both third and in the outfield. Toronto also still has a solid enough farm system where they could potentially pry Bryant away from the Chicago Cubs.
The Blue Jays are looking to take that next step in the AL East. Landing Kris Bryant would be a major help.
