Sign Marcell Ozuna

If the Chicago White Sox can land Marcell Ozuna, they would have one of the best lineups in the major leagues. He just finished sixth in the National League Most Valuable Player Award and was a Silver Slugger and was named to the first-team All-MLB as the Designated Hitter.

He would be another great power bat to put behind Jose Abreu, the 2020 American League MVP. Since 2017, Ozuna has a .860 OPS., and a .287 batting average. Through 497 games, he had 548 hits, 107 home runs, and has driven in 357 runs.

Ozuna is not going to be cheap, but he would round out this team’s needs well. He can split time between right field and DH. Ozuna will be 30 at the beginning of next season. The White Sox are set up to contend for two or three years. Adding Ozuna to the mix will definitely better their chances.

The two-time Silver Slugger is going to be rewarded big this offseason for his dominant 2020 campaign. He signed a one-year deal with the Braves and bet on himself, and it appears that it will work out well for him since he is one of the most coveted free agent hitters of this free agent class.
