Let’s take a look at five MLB players that have the most to prove this season.

Spring Training is an optimistic time for MLB players. They operate off a clean slate; their bodies are fresh, confidence is in the air, and cold streaks in March aren’t nearly as disruptive as they are in July or August.

Some players are already feeling the heat, however, this spring. Even before the regular season starts and the games count, these guys are under a microscope, pressured to perform immediately. A poor month carries the burden of a poor three months. The moment they make a mistake, boos or murmurs of disappointment ensue.

Five players fit this description more than the rest of Major League Baseball in 2021. We’ll identify each and tell you why they have the most to prove this season.
