Nike is bringing its special touch to MLB uniforms in 2021 via the City Connect line that gives each team a locally-focused uniform meant to capture the area in which they play. The San Francisco Giants may have landed the best of them all.

As MLB fans know, the Bay Area can be a spooky, foggy place due to its location on the ocean. Nike let that fact shine in the team’s City Connect threads.

Giants rocking some unique new uniforms

Nike is rolling out these designs for teams all over MLB, and it even comes with a hype video.

The Giants are the best we can find in MLB because of the way the fog is introduced into the uniform. And underneath all of that, the team truly is golden in 2021.

San Francisco enters play Monday with a record of 53-30, good enough for a 0.5-game lead over the surging Los Angeles Dodgers. In what was supposed to be a two-team race out in the National League West, the Giants are the surprising third party proving they may be the best team in all of baseball.

For those wondering, Nike is slowly rolling out other designs as well.

There is just something cool about a jersey inspired by fog and what is found below all the haze. The fact the team is playing great in 2021 makes it that much more special.

It is just a bit more inspired that a jersey that simply says “Wrigleyville” without much other artistic thought put into it.
