The Milwaukee Brewers have tabbed two former players to join the team’s Wall of Honor and another to be a part of the franchise’s Walk of Fame during ceremonies next summer.

Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, and Jonathan Lucroy are being honored by the Milwaukee Brewers

Prince Fielder, the single-season home run leader for the Milwaukee Brewers after smashing 50 during his All-Star season of 2007, will be enshrined into the team’s Walk of Fame at American Family Field sometime next summer. Additionally, Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy will be become a part of the Brewers Wall of Honor.

According to this article, the Walk of Fame is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a former Milwaukee player.

While those three will be receiving honors from the Brewers, Wes Covington will also become a part of the Milwaukee Braves Wall of Honor outside American Family Field.

Fielder is set to become player inducted into the Walk of Fame since its creation in 2001 and the first since Geoff Jenkins was honored in 2018. Players must be retired for five seasons before they are eligible to be inducted into the Walk of Fame.

While Fielder is the single-season home run leader for the franchise, Braun is the all-time leader in the category with 352. A six-time All-Star, Braun played his entire 14-year season between 2007-2020 before retiring in September. His 1,154 RBI ranks second on the franchise list and he is among the top 3 of various offensive categories in 13 different categories.

Lucroy was a two-time All-Star with the Brewers as well as making the All-Star Game with the Texas Rangers. Drafted in the third round of the 2007 MLB draft by the Brewers, Lucroy spent seven seasons in a Milwaukee uniform before being traded to the Rangers during the 2017 campaign. He has also seen action with seven other teams since that transaction as part of his career that has spanned 1,210 games.

Covington played six years for the Milwaukee Braves, slashing .284/.336/.473 in 468 games with the franchise between 1956-1961.
