We have all said or posted something on social media that we have wanted to take back. Fortunately, most of us do not have a large social media reach or celebrity status that will cause those posts to be overly problematic. But every once in a while, something goes viral and cannot be avoided. Just ask the Portland Pickles.

Dillon, the Pickles’ mascot, had a picture posted on their Twitter account. For completely understandable reasons, that picture went viral. Just take a look…

Portland Pickles give lesson in mascot anatomy?

One of the potential pitfalls of social media or dating sites can involve unsolicited pictures of one’s anatomy. It is something that no one enjoys and is absolutely not anything that is needed. If one is so inclined to do so, there are plenty of sites that allow such things.

Twitter is not exactly a place where one would expect to find random mascot nudity. Nor is it something that the Pickles likely expected. This was just supposed to be an innocent picture of Dillon the Pickle giving a thumb’s up to the fans. Maybe they should have checked the image in the post before hitting that Tweet button.

Instead, it looks like a profile picture from a hookup site. Dillon does work for a professional baseball team and people do go for a man (pickle) in uniform. Maybe Dillon can find the dill of their dreams by mistake with this tweet.

Chances are that will not happen. Instead, this will be a hilarious moment for everyone else and one that the Pickles will want back. Some intern will get a stern talking to for making everyone suddenly have questions about mascot anatomy and this will all be forgotten with the next ridiculous image posted by someone else in the next day or two.
