One could forgive Isiah Kiner-Falefa if he was unsure of his whereabouts. The New York Yankees infielder had changed teams twice in approximately 24 hours. He was originally traded to the Twins from the Rangers only to be sent to New York. Hopefully, he is done racking up Frequent Flier Miles, but one never knows.

The same can be said for his car. Kiner-Falefa was having his car sent to the Rangers spring training site when he was traded. It was in the process of being rerouted to Fort Myers when he was traded again. Now? Well, he thinks it will show up.

New York Yankees infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa has no idea where his car is

We’ve all been there. We head into a parking garage and we did not park where we thought we did. Or we are unable to locate the car in a parking lot. We’re left to wander about the lot, pressing the button on the key fob until we hear the car beep in the distance.

Kiner-Falefa does not have that luxury. His car is somewhere on the way. Probably. He thinks that is the case at least. And his car should be at spring training soon he hopes. Unless he is traded again, at which point, his car may not catch up before the regular season begins.

On the plus side, Kiner-Falefa has likely found a home in New York. The Yankees need help in the middle of their infield, and his brilliant defense is a perfect fit. His ability to make contact and excellent speed will give the lineup a dynamic that they need. Add in his defensive versatility, and he will have plenty of value, even with the Yankees’ shortstop prospects are ready. Maybe by that point, he will have his car back.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a whirlwind 24 hours as he was traded twice. Now he is waiting for his car to catch up, which he thinks will happen soon.
