After winning one of three games to open the season in Toronto, the Texas Rangers will return home to celebrate Opening Day when they host the Colorado Rockies on Monday afternoon at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

Scheduled pitching matchup: It will be a battle of left-handers as Colorado’s Austin Gomber squares off against Taylor Hearn from the Texas Rangers.

Fact to know: This is the second time in the last three years that the Rockies will serve as the opponent for the home opening game for the Rangers inside Globe Life Field. Texas defeated Colorado 1-0 on July 24, 2020, as the COVID-19-shortened season got underway.

When does Opening Day parking open at Globe Life Field?

When do the gates at Globe Life Field open on Opening Day?

Gates will open at noon on Opening Day. Texas is scheduled to hold a batting session at 12:10 p.m. and Colorado will take its swings beginning at 1:10 p.m. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 2:35 p.m., with first pitch slated for 3:10 p.m.

What channels will televise the Opening Day matchup between the Texas Rangers and Colorado Rockies on television?

The Rangers broadcast will be shown on Bally Sports Southwest while Colorado’s point of view will be shown on AT&T SportsNet. The game can also be seen with a subscription on MLB.tv (blackout restrictions may apply).
